Pastor Rusty Woolum
Pastor Rusty
and Kathy Woolum
Pastor Rusty Woolum is a great man of
God and a devoted husband and father.
He and his wife Kathy have three beautiful
children, Nathaniel, Sarah, and Hannah
who love the Lord and help their father, as
well, with his ministry work at the Newport
Church of God.  Rusty has been singing in
church since three years of age.  God has
truly blessed Rusty with multiple talents,
but he has always found his God gifted
talents to be playing the piano and singing
to be the ministry God has used him the
most for over the years.  Since 2004 Rusty
has been the minister of music and choir
director at the Newport Church of God.  In
2009 Rusty became Youth Pastor at the
Newport Church of God, and in 2010
Pastor Rusty and his wife Kathy started
feeling the call to start pastoring their own
congregation.  Then the door opened to
Pastor their home church where Rusty has
spent 23 years as a member and worker,
and Kathy has spent over 40 years as a
member and worker.  In January 2011,
Pastor Rusty and his family were officially
voted in as pastor for the Newport Church
of God.  Rusty and his family have a love
for the Newport Church of God and are
committed to seeing the plan that God has
for His church to come to pass.  Pastor
Rusty is a licensed minister with the
Church of God Cleveland Assembly.
